There are still some known issues affecting the driver, even on the latest version of FreeBSD. With the latest version (which I usually push in the khorben/umb branch at https://github.com/khorben/freebsd-src/tree/khorben/u= mb) the driver is capable of obtaining an IP address, but crashes with the first packet sent or received. I ported the driver back in 2019-2020 with OPNSense as the target, where it worked just fine for me; it was not affected by the current issues with VNE= T or mutexes (or at least it was not crashing, even though some bugs were certai= nly there). This might have been because of some differences between FreeBSD and pfSense/OPNSense. You might also have run into an incompatibility between pfSense and the VM; it is difficult to evaluate from here, even with your detailed output. I am currently getting help for testing the driver in different situations (thanks!) and hope to be able to make further progress soon. I will update = this bug report as soon as I make any significant update. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
