Thank you for the fast response and sorry for mixing up the modes with
communication port or without it.

In the last post I forgot to add the ifconfig output and what I tried with
umbctl.

umb:
Command:  umbctl umb0
Response: umbctl: umb0: Device not configured
Command:  umbctl umb0 apn drei.at username no password no
Response: umbctl: umb0: Device not configured

As you see, no response and no entry in the list.
Any ideas?
