But it's not the controller which matters, it's the hub. The board apparently has 3 USB2 hubs. Two go to the USB2 headers and one apparently goes to the USB3 headers, based on the board block diagram. But the latter may only be enabled by a junper. Not enough detail in the diagram to tell.
