Oh. I totally missed that. Yeah, you need -A to trigger bhyve's ACPI table
generation.

As stated out earlier, the OVMF binary ships with static ACPI tables. Those
tables may work somehow but most of the time they don't match your vm
configuration. So, they are just wrong.

I highly recommend to always use -A.
