Setting kern.ipc.umtx_min_timeout to 10000000 (10m= s) gives nice low CPU usage, and the CPU is spending much more time in low-pow= er C-states. I'll keep an eye on it for a while more but for now it seems perf= ect. I really appreciate this patch, and I'm sure others will find this very helpful.
