Our LLVM toolchain has assemblers and linkers for all supported architectures. 
So nothing extra is needed to build an x86 binary with the toolchain shipped
on, say, arm64 FreeBSD.

I was more thinking of preparing data disks for x86-based computers, but it
seems that I had kind of missed the point of the PMBR file.
