Hi Jenisch Assuming I understood what you're trying to do, you should just be able to switch to a shell (by any means you used above), do the `export ...` things, and then run `bsdinstall` from within the same shell, thus inheriting thoes proxy settings. It's also possible to use a larger image (memstick or disc1) which already contains the tarballs, so there's nothing needed to fetch: https://download.freebsd.org/ftp/releases/amd64/amd64/ISO-IMAGES/14.0/ A+ Dave
