You might consider one of the Protectli platforms: https://kb.protectli.com/buyers-guide/ They are available through Amazon. I'm using Xeon D based Supermico servers for that purpose, but my son is using a Protectli running FreeBSD for OpenVPN. The larger Protectli devices can run close to 1G over VPN connection.
