Sorry, hit send too soon. According to the article below, the bug was in FBSD 12 as well as in Illumos. OpenZFS just uncovered it: https://www.theregister.com/2023/12/04/two_new_versions_of_openzfs/ I'm in a similar situation, running 12 and planning on upgrading to 13 soon.
