And as are an increasing number of messages here lately, especially with VMs providing a 'backdoor escape'. Would you care to lend your obviously considerable audio experience to the case of old-fashioned metal FreeBSD, for a similar set of usage cases? What audio options are currently most usable with e.g. KDE or other DEs? cheers, Ian
