Sparse or not? etc. The VM in particular, its disk settings? How is the disk being presented to the VM? AHCI or nvme. If it isn't obvious, I'm focusing particularly on the disks as I believe the answer lies therein. Also, I don't particularly care about cross posting to multiple lists but I'll mention it because it ruffles feathers. ~Paul --=20 __________________ :(){ :|:& };: --00000000000096af2e05fbfbbcde Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

Your question is vague enough th= at you're excluding information that could help answer this.

UFS or ZFS fs?=C2=A0 If ZFS, its settings?=C2=A0 Sparse or not? etc= .
The VM in particular, its disk settings?
How = is the disk being presented to the VM?=C2=A0 AHCI or nvme.

If it isn't obvious, I'm focusing particularly on the disks as I = believe the answer lies therein.

Also, I don't partic= ularly care about cross posting to multiple lists but I'll mention it b= ecause it ruffles feathers.
