Ah, right.  Yet another consequence of the regressive move from mailman plus pipermail to mlmmj is loss of clickable links in the archived messages.  Duh!

Here's how it was (and still is) in longtime historical archives, as a useful example:

And as previously noted, the pipermail archives can be browsed through whole months without having to go back via the index after almost every message.
