FreeBSD 13 & KDE: how to save session (automatically)

Hi,

Happy New Year to all!

ISTR that on Linux (ubuntu) and current-ish KDE, the default(?)
behaviour when logging out is for KDE store the current session and
restore it when I login the next time (though the "default" part may
be my imagination :-))

How can I achieve this behaviour on 13.1-RELEASE-p5 and KDE installed via pkg?

Here's some info about my current software release levels from System
Setting's "about this system":

Operating System: FreeBSD 13.1
KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.6
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.95.0
Qt Version: 5.15.5
Kernel Version: 13.1-RELEASE-p3 (64-bit)

(this last is a bit surprising, as what I quote above is from "freebsd-version")

any feedback/pointers/... welcome, TIA
Michael
