I used to do this custom (e.g. dedicated partition on drive with gmirror), not sure what you get when you go this path through the installer: https://docs.freebsd.org/en/books/handbook/bsdinstall/ ZFS Partitioning Menu * Mirror Swap? - Whether to mirror the swap between the disks. Be aware that enabling mirror swap will break crash dumps. Press the Enter key to activate it or not. Wish I could give you more detail. Derek
