Hours of Duckduckgo-ing and a ticket on the Selenium GitHub site have not helped, and most of the information out there is outdated and/or for Linux|Windows; not much info for FBSD.

I've been using Selenium on FreeBSD for awhile. I recently switched from using
chromium to firefox because a recent change to `chromium --headless' causes
transparent windows to open on the desktop. The switch to using firefox
required I stop using the remote server feature, instead opening new firefox
instances for each web query, but it works well enough.

What problem are you having with them?
