This should read "if or if not", since to make the download secure
there must be some kind of verification mechanism. Signed checksums
can be used against an ISO from what ever source. You can download it
from Microsoft, the NSA or FSB and after that you can or can not verify
the ISO ;).

If obscurity should be a security measure, then the more obscure the
download server, the more secure the ISO.
