In case of "Z"ombie apocalypse having a source code of the whole OS may come handy :-P :-P QuickFix: I am also big fan of optical disks.. not only because of my nickname, I also use BluRay for backups (25/50/100GB per disk). There are also small 8cm DVD+RW 1.4GB disks that come handy when some stuff does not fit on CD and DVD seems too big.. is this an option? You can get pretty cheap Verbatim 8cm SERL HardCoat 5x pack box of DVD+RW (4x write speed) and these will sere you for years :-) One problem with them is you need a drive with a tray loading mechanism due to small form factor. AnotherFix: Another solution that uses USB pendrive with multiple ISO images that you simply copy to a (ex)FAT partition is VENTOY. You can have as much ISO images as can fit on a pendrive, boot off the pendrive, select ISO from a menu, then chain-boot the image. Both BIOS and UEFI boot supported. You can also use small and slow cheap pendrive (business card?) because reading is fast anyway and you will most surely write only once (per several months).. https://www.ventoy.net Have fun! :-) --=20 CeDeROM, SQ7MHZ, http://www.tomek.cedro.info
