I don't lack the time or the expertise. I just think running a mailing list 
for a security-centred OS on a platform monetising metadata is 
incongrouous and this gives me pause for the thing it represents. 
And that's it. I'm describing the input of not-dogfooding on
my opinion.

as to the "well why don't you do it yourself" I think the issue might 
be that there is more trust in a company than an individual, but I'm
guessing here. There are non-metadata monetising list servers. I guess I'd
have to ask on the list
