I used the the latest attachement to create the badly needed lang/python312
myself and run python3.12 -m ensurepip

So thanks for providing the attachement! This saved me and using FreeBSD at
work.

Just a note on porting Python modules for FreeBSD:

I'm VERY unhappy with the situation of py3xx-ports. Therefore I do use Pip
wherever possible an avoid using the ports. 
From my view Pip should be the general way installing Python modules on FreeBSD
and py3xx ports should only provide those modules where patching is necessary
and this in way NOT conflicting with Pip-installed modules.

Also note that Python dropped FreeBSD to lowest Tier 3 level in PEP 11.
