While the problem looks like something that could be fixed by a rebuild 
of the port (along with dependencies), but I see that there is an 
updated version of the software. I'll prepare an update (sometime later 
today, or tomorrow), and you can test it, and see if it resolves your 
problem (with the bonus update).

My FreeBSD desktop is unfortunately almost dead in the water, so I won't 
be able to test it myself.
