Most possible use-case why end-user runs main (aka -current) branch
would be "I want this device to be availabe. But it's supported only on
main branch!". Maybe especially on notebooks. For example, GPUs
requiring graphics/drm-61-kmod forces main for now.

Maybe it would be nice if snapshot images on main branch are provided
at relatively stable commits, not in regular basis like dayly, weekly
and/or monthly. Main branch is not always unstable or broken. ;-)
And git allows checking out src tree at specific commit for builder.
