I was bitten with locally-built 123.0_3,2 on Thursday 22nd February, so 
I reactivated a boot environment with 122.0.1_3,2.

The more recent package from the FreeBSD repo for FreeBSD:15:amd64 is 
not bugged. From /var/log/messages.0.bz2:
