I don't know how to write the language R, but it seems to me that it matches 1.0e-6 even when the size of long is 8.

The size of long for 64-bit Windows is 4. For more details of it need to look into the history, which is more than 20 years old :)
LP64 or LLP64 would be the key word for it.
