I have 6.42.0_1 installed and it says it is outdated for about a week or so. I tried to updated my desktop today but there is no Signal package in quarterly 2024Q2: % pkg version -vRL = | grep signal signal-desktop-6.42.0_1 ? orphaned: net-im/signal-deskto I see there is an updated version (6.48.1) in a quarterly ports tree https://cgit.freebsd.org/ports/tree/net-im/signal-desktop?h=2024Q2 But why is it missing from the packages? I can try to build it my-self in a Poudriere but is 6.48 still working or is it outdated too? (I really hate this style of deprecating application every 3 months or so without any incompatible changes in a protocol) Kind regards Miroslav Lachman
