Hi Nuno, I don't think so. Go has pretty good backwards compatibility and will on its own honour the toolchain version declared in go.mod. I.e. it won't apply later language changes to projects declaring an earlier Go version. Plus we don't ship some of the versions that can be declared (such as 1.16) anymore.
