Packaged XFCE support in x11/workrave?

Would there be interest in a FreeBSD-wide package of x11/workrave that
supports XFCE, using either
https://docs.freebsd.org/en/books/porters-handbook/flavors/ or
https://docs.freebsd.org/en/books/porters-handbook/makefiles/index.html/#makefile-masterdir?

At a glance, either would require removing --disable-xfce from
CONFIGURE_ARGS and other changes per
https://docs.freebsd.org/en/books/porters-handbook/special/index.html/#using-xfce.
I suspect I would need to coordinate with the x11/workrave maintainer
and get their permission or approval no matter which method I use. Which
would be better/easier for me and everyone else involved, both for the
initial addition and upkeep, keeping in mind that as I mentioned
previously, a local poudriere isn't an option for me?

Feedback on the questions I asked welcome.
