I am not sure if everybody knows this and not really a bug.

According to this OpenSMTPD 7.6 breaks with the old smtp table protocols:

so all the port&packages with opensmtpd-extra-table-* packages are not supposed
to work with this version (at least the -passwd does it not from my
experience). someone needs to create the ports/packages opensmtpd-table-* from
the openbsd ports to make it work again. At least one is already available:
opensmtpd-table-sqlite
