is it something that fbsd patch introduced to any tools those use, eg auto* maybe= ? or is it upstream? or a stray issue running them in fbsd? but why did it disappear? since i tried to get the error back by downgrading them. but downgrade somehow fixed something. something in fs i guess. since env didn't change. no config or tools did change. nothing changed. sadly i don't have = full fs snapshots but i do have pkg db dump before (fails) and after event (ok).= if this is stray issue, it's very weird one. maybe it's specific to portupgrad= e, but how portmaster fails then? the error is also from gmake and it's within upstream code apparently. oh i don't know. would anyone suggest anything? i diffed the two pkg dumps but couldn't find anything. or i don't know what to look. pkg db should perfectly reflect any file, lib and their relations, de= p, etc on disk. i clearly changed something and now i can't get it back. maybe= pkg bug even? i guess it won't show up with poudriere but what's even happening= ? i mean it's not question whether anyone should still use portupgrade in 2025 = but why does this error happen. i don't like random bugs experienced by multiple users. i think i should have better fbsd lab where i can actually play with things like this, repeatedly, and find out the causes --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.=
