https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=283901 --- Comment #7 from J.R. Oldroyd <fbsd@opal.com> --- As I said, I am not at the place where I can test this until next week. I have 14.1 on that system and it will go to 14.2 while I am there, so I'll be able to test both. So, not being an expert on sane, it looks like /usr/local/etc/sane.d/dll.d/epsonscan2 names the "epsonscan2" library here: /usr/local/lib/sane/libsane-epsonscan2.so.1 -> /usr/local/lib/epsonscan2/libsane-epsonscan2.so You say you can work around the problem by removing the file /usr/local/etc/sane.d/dll.d/epsonscan2 ? So scanning still works with sane without that file? Presumably then, sane is still loading the epsonscan2 library somehow and this could be an easy fix ? But if removing the file naming the epsonscan2 library causes the epsonscan2 library not to be loaded, we may need to patch code. But one would expect the Epson scanner not to work without this library. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
