https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=284993 Bug ID: 284993 Summary: editors/libreoffice 25.2.0.3_2 with qt6 stack overflow using password protected file Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: office@FreeBSD.org Reporter: bitbucket63-it@yahoo.com Assignee: office@FreeBSD.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(office@FreeBSD.org) I have been using editors/libreoffice built from ports for some time now with option QT6=on and it has been working fine. After a recent upgrade to libreoffice-25.2.0.3_2 opening or saving a file in calc using a password caused libreoffice to crash. The system log reported: soffice.bin[2834]: stack overflow detected; terminated kernel: pid 2834 (soffice.bin), jid 0, uid 1001: exited on signal 6 (core dumped) Rebuilding libreoffice and all dependencies did not fix the problem. Rebuilding libreoffice with option QT5=on fixed the problem. Building the package was done with poudriere.
