Dear Robert,

I am very sorry for the inconveniences.
I created a new patch that will also remove the garbage in the Makefile.crates
file.
And yes, I have tested topgrade before upload the ports patch file.
The artifact end to end test could also be automated but it isn't yet

I am wondering why it is not possible to have a Makefile for port-upgrades in
the ports for easier handling. 

Ex.:

export PORT_NEW_VERSION=16.0.4 make update-port generate-update-patch
