            Bug ID: 284772
Summary: net/dhcpd won't start when using option domain-search
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: greg.bal4@gmail.com
                CC: koue@chaosophia.net
                CC: koue@chaosophia.net
             Flags: maintainer-feedback?(koue@chaosophia.net)

Adding a domain-search option to dhcpd.conf such as:

  option domain-search "example.com, example.net";

causes dhcpd not to start.

  # dhcpd -d
fatal in dhcpd: Can't compress domain

Everything works fine if the domain-search option is removed, except that the
clients don't receive the proper search list to insert into /etc/resolv.conf.

This configuration works using net/isc-dhcp44-server, which has reached EOL, so
I'm testing to see if net/dhcpd can be used as a replacement in my environment.
