Sorry for the delay. I just tested upgrading again.

I see no crash nor relevant error messages in logs, but the imap server in
courier-imap fails to work after upgrading (was working fine with
libunistring-1.2)

The symptom is thunderbird telling me the operation failed on the server when
trying to get new messages, and also any other operation (can't open o refresh
messages already cached in the client). The mail server is working fine
otherwise, can receive messages fine.

I don't know why this is happening. Rolling back to version 1.2 makes it work
again.
