what is the output of xwininfo -root -children, are some browser windows set to
small dimensions? I wonder if the windows sizes are reported wrongly to the
letterboxing system. (Even though it should not matter when letterboxing is
disabled) What if you run the tor-browser as the root window... (Just to rule
out a window manager)
