Yeah, I realized that right after I posted the first patch.

It turns out this approach doesn't actually work; post-fetch isn't called until
*after* makesum completes so the patch file gets updated correctly but it
doesn't match the distinfo checksum which is generated *before* do-fetch.

Here's a new patch that makes the upstream patches local to the port.
