This limits the number of virtual devices a VM can use. In my use case it was necessary to create a VM with significantly more than= 200 vtnet(4) devices. The attached patch allows virtual devices to be distributed across multiple= PCI buses, thus multiplying the number of devices that can be used in a VM.
