I don't think that you are using the latest version of valgrind-devel.

The port was updated last week and should be using the tarball at
https://snapshots.sourceware.org/valgrind/trunk/2024-11-04_12-31_1730723461/

Valgrind no longer checks the FreeBSD version (since
https://sourceware.org/git/?p=valgrind.git;a=commit;h=c87b75e8400f4b6efd77f014183d6180fa766686)
