Hi, had the same issue recently with :
Nagios 4.5, Thruk 3.18 and Livestatus 1.5
No issues with Nagios 4.4 before.

It seems there were some header changes mainly in Nagios 4.5
I did a fork/patch which you can find there :
https://github.com/jplh42/mk-livestatus_nagios-4.5

This works (at least on my Linux installation).
