https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=282730 Bug ID: 282730 Summary: sysutils/znapzend's rc script doesn't allow passing additional args Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: jeffpc@josefsipek.net There doesn't appear to be a way to specify additional options to znapzend. Upstream created an rc script back in January [1]. This upstream script is based on the one in ports, but it adds ZNAPZENDOPTIONS to /etc/defaults/znapzend to allow injecting additional arguments. (Personally, I'd like to add `--features=recvu,compressed --autoCreation` to the command line on my boxes, but I'm sure there are other use cases.) Unfortunately, the port ignores this upstream rc script and continues to use the same minimal one that doesn't support options at all.
