I have some bad news. I have a branch with 5.1.0 ported, however it appears
that APC had begun bundling Linux .so's for license management. This port can
no longer be used on FreeBSD without significant heroics. I'm going to close
this issue and begin the process of removing pcns from ports.

I suggest taking a look at APCUPSD using the pcnet driver.
