Thanks for working on this.

I applied your latest patch (17.0.0.20240315), but it only works for me if I:
- add python to USES
- add the following to SHEBANG_FILES:
    Runtime/codelite-remote
    codelite_open_helper.py

It emits a few warnings then, but it builds and runs on my 14.0 workstation.
