https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=273704 --- Comment #2 from p5B2EA84B3@t-online.de --- The port should provide a basic use which is a working configuration for at least audio. As the baresip config sample comes with alsa entries, a basic port configuration for the use with alsa is a very low hanging fruit. The codecs G711, G722 are very common in telephony and should be enabled. Please be advised that for making sound output with alsa working the port audio/alsa-plugins had to be installed manually, pointing to a missing dependency. The pulseaudio configuration needed a manual installation of audio/gstreamer1-plugins-pulse. So pulse needs GST and gstreamer1-plugins-pulse. Having enabled also port options X11 and CTRL_DBUS this results in these errors on start: dl: mod: /usr/local/lib/baresip/modules/gtk.so (Cannot open "/usr/local/lib/baresip/modules/gtk.so") module gtk.so: No such file or directory [2] dl: mod: /usr/local/lib/baresip/modules/ctrl_dbus.so (Cannot open "/usr/local/lib/baresip/modules/ctrl_dbus.so") module ctrl_dbus.so: No such file or directory [2] I hope this helps making audio/baresip more usable out of the box. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
