multimedia/mpv simply uses the recommended lang/luajit* version. For example,
lang/luajit (stable) is still stuck on the release from >10 years ago which
lacks many bug fixes and support for non-x86 architectures. aarch64 is Tier1
since FreeBSD 13 while multimedia/mpv has many consumers.

multimedia/mpv cannot switch to lang/luajit (stable) without (re)introducing
package conflicts with devel/efl, editors/neovim, multimedia/obs-studio, etc.
