https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=276601 Bug ID: 276601 Summary: audio/aqualung: reclaim MAINTAINER and remove DEPRECIATED Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: portmaster@bsdforge.com Attachment #247939 maintainer-approval+ Flags: Created attachment 247939 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=247939&action=edit git diff for audio/aqualung Reclaim MAINTAINERship && remove DEPRECIATED for audio/aqualung. MIANTAINER was removed because my domain (BSDforge.com) was unavailable for 5 days. It's back and will remain so. The reasons for DEPRECIATED are largely inaccurate: ffmpeg is technically optional. In fact, the GitHub Issue was cited in bug #270194 indicates ffmpeg6 is currently supported. Altho only mentioned for Openbsd. I have no reason to think that I won't be able to use v6 in FreeBSD. The project is by no means abandoned. So support from the Author will surely be available. I'll update this port to version v1.2 in the next weeks. Thanks! :) --Chris -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
