            Bug ID: 283725
Summary: x11/kde5: Power manager defaults to sleep after 15
                    minutes idle
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: kde@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: jwb@freebsd.org
          Assignee: kde@FreeBSD.org
             Flags: maintainer-feedback?(kde@FreeBSD.org)

Upon routine testing of the KDE option of sysutils/desktop-installer, I noticed
that my test machine went to sleep after a short time after logging into KDE.

I don't think this is the best default, given that:

1. suspend/resume doesn't work on all hardware
2. FreeBSD machines often have some sort of remote access enabled

I'd suggest tweaking the appropriate port to change the default to lock screen.
This will lead to better first impressions for new FreeBSD users.
