Actually this has been raised a multiple times already, but I don't mind
commenting once more:
1. For the release archive, I really want to see review D37929 merged (I also
put a comment there why this is important). I would strongly prefer to not
change existing method unless a) revision will be officially marked as
Abandoned or GitHub will announce that actual archive format will be changed,
as they promised to do 6 months ahead in no. 2 of [0].
2. We cannot unbundle httplib as it's broken (commit
49709c91cf5f32ae17b3f2d576928a604289959f) on 13.x (which is still supported)
due to versions=>0.15 requiring OpenSSL 3.
