https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=278558 Muhammad Moinur Rahman <bofh@freebsd.org> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |bofh@freebsd.org Flags|exp-run? | Resolution|--- |Not Accepted Status|New |Closed --- Comment #1 from Muhammad Moinur Rahman <bofh@freebsd.org> --- Hi, Please do not abruptly click everything. If you do not know or understand something please ask in the forum or in the mailing lists. exp-run is required for a ports which affects hundreds or thousands of ports in the build process. Like let's say autoconf which is needed to build other ports and modifying something like that port needs special checks for the entire ports tree to be tested. exp-run is meant for that sort of a PR. This port has no such effects in the tree and do not require an exp-run. And this is not a patch for the ports itself but to the src of the ports. If you need to discuss the changes on your changes please create reviews. Or discuss in the mailing lists that this can be worked with the patch and whether if there are interests for this port. I am keeping this open but I do not think this will get any traction unless some interested party knows about it. And finally on another note this port has been removed from the tree. The commit log is here: https://cgit.freebsd.org/ports/commit/?id=c886470710695891eb813825a45e147bafa1886e So there is no point in reinventing the wheel as the port was marked deprecated and noone showed any interest to save it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
