because go 1.22 did a change that the language behaviour more in a way that is
expected:

This cause already major problem for many go project.
I think one of the biggest problem for the letsencrypt project were that they
needed to revoke thousends of certificates as a for loop was not behaving like
expected.
It is faster then and some other nice improvements.
Just give it a try ;)
