Comment : Open VMware tools for FreeBSD VMware guests (without X11)
8 Cores
16GB RAM
2 VHDs (56GB + 64GB)
ESXi 8.0.1 Hypervisor

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Install 14-Alpha4 from ISO (amd64), other architectures untested.
2) pkg install open-vm-tools-nox11
3) shutdown -r now
4) Kernel panic during boot (before login)

During boot sequence, after going into multi-user mode and automatically
running init scripts for open-vm-tools from /usr/local/etc/rc.d, kernel panic
occurs.

panicmail_autosubmit was enabled, so including that data as well as attachment.

I suspect one of the kernel modules (vmmemctl.ko) from
/usr/local/lib/vmware-tools/modules/drivers/ is causing the crash.

I have attached core.txt.0, panicmail.0, and info.0 from /var/crash on the
impacted VM.

I am also attempting a clean build from latest ports tree of
emulators/open-vm-tools to see if rebuilding helps.
