https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=275062 Bug ID: 275062 Summary: x11/budgie: Won't run after updating to 13.2-p5 and rebuilding the ports Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: gerard_seibert@outlook.com CC: duchateau.olivier@gmail.com CC: duchateau.olivier@gmail.com Flags: maintainer-feedback?(duchateau.olivier@gmail.com) Created attachment 246277 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=246277&action=edit Log file of x11 uname: FreeBSD 13.2-RELEASE-p4 GENERIC amd64 freebsd-version: 13.2-RELEASE-p5 I am using “x11/budgie” as my desktop. Everything was working fine until I updated to FreeBSD-p5. After having poudriere update its jail, I had it update all of the ports on my system. Since then, I can no longer get “budgie” to run. A few seconds after I run “startx,” a warning appears on the screen that an error has occurred and recommends that I log out. If I don’t, a black screen appears with the icons for my installed apps. There is no taskbar or menu available. I can click on an icon, and it will run, but I cannot log out of the desktop. I have to manually shut down the machine and reboot it to regain control. I tried rebuilding the x11/budgie port, but that did not help. If someone wants to examine it, there is a huge “budgie-wm.core” and “budgie-daemon.core file. I have attached the Xorg.0.log file. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
